ABOUT the PHOTOGRAPHER
At the age of twelve Erwin started photography as a hobby. After graduating from university, he worked as an IT professional and in 2006 became a full-time photographer.
Erwin has specialist knowledge on African wildlife behavior and combining this with his vast photography skills, he currently runs photography workshops and photo safaris to wildlife destinations in South Africa, Botswana and Namibia.
He is the founder of OSHANA Publishing. Since 2006 OSHANA has published five major titles. They are: 'KALAHARI - Magnificent Desert', 'DRAKENSBERG - Magnificent Mountain', 'SOUTH AFRICA's WILD GEMS - Magnificent Jewels of Nature', 'DRAKENSBERG - 20 Best Day Hikes' and 'THE SPERRGEBIET'.
Erwin is also a keen videographer with several marketing and documentary productions to his credit.

I am mostly assigned to photo/video projects and my clients prefer unpublished work. Thus the reason why you will not see lots of photos on my site.
